These terms apply to your use of syncautomation.co.tz (the "website"), operated by Sync Automation Limited, a private company limited by shares incorporated in Tanzania under the Companies Act, 2002 (Certificate of Incorporation No. 181530480, issued by BRELA on 24 Jan 2025; TIN 181-530-480), registered office Plot 18, Block 45A, House 012, Mtanzania Street, New Bagamoyo Road, Kijitonyama, P.O. Box 31422, Dar es Salaam 14113, Tanzania. By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.
1. Our services are contracted separately
Design, supply, installation, commissioning and support work is carried out only under a written quotation or contract agreed with you. That quotation or contract sets out the scope, price, payment terms, programme and warranties, and it takes priority over anything on this website.
2. Information on the website
The website gives general information about our services. It is not professional advice for a particular building. Descriptions, drawings, example projects and figures are illustrations; what will be supplied for your project is set out in your quotation. We try to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we do not promise that it is complete or free of errors, and we may change it at any time.
3. Quote requests
Sending the quote form, an email or a WhatsApp message is a request for information. It does not create a contract and does not oblige either of us to go ahead. A quote becomes binding only when it is accepted in writing on the terms it states. We use the details you send as described in our privacy policy.
4. The live demo
The live demo is a simulation for illustration only. It runs entirely in your browser and is not connected to any real building, room or equipment. Its values, alarms and behaviour are invented to show how such systems work in general; they do not describe a real installation and must not be relied on for design or safety decisions. The hotel room shown is a generic example.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the website and the demo for your own information and to contact us. You must not:
- use the website in a way that breaks the law or harms others;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its hosting or any connected system, or interfere with its security;
- send spam, automated or bulk requests, or false information through the quote form;
- copy large parts of the website, or scrape it automatically, for commercial use without our written permission;
- introduce viruses or other harmful code.
6. Intellectual property
The text, drawings, design, demo and software of this website, the Sync Automation name and logo, and Sync Design Desk belong to Sync Automation Limited or are used with permission. You may view, print and share pages for personal, non-commercial use, as long as you keep this notice. Any other use needs our written permission.
7. Trademarks
Product and standard names mentioned on this website, such as KNX, BACnet, Modbus, DALI and the names of equipment manufacturers, are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners. They are used only to describe the systems and equipment we work with. Their use does not mean that the owners endorse, sponsor or are affiliated with Sync Automation, unless we say so expressly.
8. Third-party software
The 3D view in the live demo uses three.js, which is open-source software made available under the MIT licence. Its licence notice is published with the website.
9. Links to other websites
The website links to other sites, such as WhatsApp, Google Maps, Instagram, LinkedIn and our Sync Design Desk application. We are not responsible for the content or practices of other websites, and their own terms apply. Sync Design Desk has its own terms of use.
10. Liability
The website and the demo are provided free of charge and "as available". To the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for any loss caused by relying on general information on the website or in the demo, or by the website being unavailable;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as loss of profit, business or data, arising from use of the website.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the laws of Tanzania, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Liability for work we carry out for you is governed by your quotation or contract.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. If a dispute arises, we will first try to settle it by talking to you. If that does not work, the courts of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania will have jurisdiction.
